Indiana vs. Purdue Time Set for Wednesday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana and Purdue will resume their rained-out April 8 doubleheader this Wednesday, April 22, at 5 p.m. at Andy Mohr Field. Due to the timing of the rescheduled games, the contests will not count as conference games and will not affect either team's conference record.
The first game of the twin billing was halted on April 8 in the top of the first inning after lightning was spotted in the area.
Game one will be picked up where it left off, with Purdue runners on the corners after a lead-off triple and walk. The Boilermakers' Ashley Burkhardt will resume her position in the batter's box with a 2-0 count against Indiana pitcher Miranda Tamayo.
