BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The No. 44 Indiana men's tennis team is set to host No. 73 Nebraska and No. 68 Iowa this weekend at home.
The Hoosiers (12-8) will battle Nebraska on Friday at 2:00 p.m. ET and return on Sunday to take on Iowa at 2:00 p.m. ET.
Last weekend the Hoosiers split a pair of conference matches on the road. IU picked up a 5-2 victory against Wisconsin, but fell 4-0 at Minnesota.
The Hoosiers have six of their remaining eight regular season matches at home, where they have posted a 5-2 record with a win against Oregon.
The team is planning on playing their matches outside, but if weather conditions are not ideal the matches will be played inside at the IU tennis center. The outdoor facility is located just down from the IU Tennis Center off of Fee Lane. Updates will be posted on the team twitter account, which can be accessed here.
On Friday there will be free food and Sunday will feature eggs with prizes in them. Admission to both matches is free as well.
This week Behind The Nets host Megan Jakoby and team members Elliott Yee and Chris Essick hit the streets/campus to see what IU students know about tennis. The result we think is one of the best episodes yet. Check it out below.
