Women's Golf Heads to Big Ten Championship

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Indiana women's golf team heads to the 2015 Big Ten Championship, April 24-26 at The Fort Golf Resort in Indianapolis. This will be the first time the championship has been contested at the course.
The 6-count-4 tournament will be played on the par-72, 6,221-yard Pete Dye designed course in the first year of a two-year run. Indiana is the No. 8 seed and will tee off on Friday beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET on the first hole. The Hoosiers will play with Michigan State, Illinois and Minnesota in round one.
Tee times run from 8:30 a.m.-10:42 a.m. on Saturday in round two and 8 a.m.-10:12 a.m. in Sunday's final round. Live results will be available at GolfStatResults.com
The Hoosiers' six-person team includes senior Elizabeth Tong, junior Camille Chevalier, freshman Pear Siriko, sophomore Ana Sanjuan, sophomore Theresa-Ann Jedra and senior Sarah Dusman.
Tong is coming off a second-place finish at last week's Lady Buckeye Invitational. Tong placed tied for 49th at last year's Big Ten Championship, with her top finish a tie for 32nd in 2013.
Chevalier ranks second on the team in stroke average at 75.73 and finished tied for 33rd at last week's Lady Buckeye. Chevalier's Big Ten Championship debut last year saw her finish tied for 44th.
Siriko has had a strong spring after sitting out the fall season due to injury. Siriko posted her best finish of the season last week at tied for 39th at the Lady Buckeye.
Sanjuan has a pair of top-25 finishes to her credit this season and tied for 49th at her first Big Ten Championship last season.
Jedra makes her Big Ten Championship debut this season after competing in four tournaments as a freshman and five this season. Jedra tied for 49th at the Lady Buckeye Invitational.
Rounding out Indiana's lineup is Dusman. Dusman competed at last year's Big Ten Championship, placing 72nd. She finished 53rd at the Lady Buckeye with season-low rounds of 79 and 76 on the first day.
