Tong Named B1G Golfer of the Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Big Ten Conference office announced today that senior Elizabeth Tong is the Big Ten Golfer of the Week. It is the third career golfer of the week honor for Tong.

At last week's Lady Buckeye Invitational, Tong posted rounds of 68-74-73 to finish second overall in the 12-team field. Her first-round 68 ties her career best, while the second-place finish marked her second-straight top-five placing and her fourth top-10 finish this season.

Tong and the rest of her Indiana teammates are set to begin the 2015 Big Ten Championship, April 24-26 at The Fort Golf Resort in Indianapolis.
