Chevalier Crowned French Champion

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana University senior golfer Camille Chevalier was crowned individual champion at the Gaveau Cup Championship of France this past weekend in Amiens, France.
Chevalier won the title by beating Anyssia Herbaut 1 up in the match play final. She advanced to the championship round with a 2 up victory over Louise Latorre in the semifinal and 3&2 victory over Chloé Salort in the quarterfinals.
Chevalier is coming off a junior season where she posted five top-50 finishes, led by a tie for 13th at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in February. She also placed tied for 33rd at the Westbrook Spring Invitational and the Lady Buckeye Invitational.
