Martin Named April IU Scholar-Athlete of the Month

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Freshman offensive lineman Wes Martin has been recognized as Indiana Athletics Scholar-Athlete of the month for April.

Tasha Buchmiller, Assistant Academic Advisor, on Martin:

"This past semester Wes showed a tremendous commitment to his academics which resulted in his highest GPA. Wes has had a standout month not only in academics but setting records in the weight room as well. His leadership ability has not gone unnoticed and he will be an impact player for his teammates both on and off the field. Wes is growing into a fine leader and I'm not only proud of him for his accomplishments, but also excited to see him evolve through his experiences at IU."
