Hoosiers at Duke for 2015 Big Ten/ACC Challenge

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana will visit defending national champion Duke on Wednesday, December 2 as part of the 2015 Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The Hoosiers have won three of their last four Challenge matchups winning at NC State (2011) and taking home contests against North Carolina (2013) and Pittsburgh (2015).
This will be the third time that IU and Duke will face off in the event which began in 1999. They last met in 2006 when the Blue Devils captured a 54-51 contest at home against IU . In 2005, the Blue Devils won 75-67 in Assembly Hall.
The Hoosiers could play as many as five games against preseason nationally ranked squads in the non-conference season.
IU will be one of four preseason ranked programs to take the floor in the illustrious Maui Jim Maui Invitational joining Kansas, UCLA and Vanderbilt in the event. The Invitational also will feature UNLV and St. John's, who have recently added standout recruits, and host Chaminade.
IU will battle another preseason ranked ACC squad when it plays Notre Dame at the 5th Annual Crossroads Classic. The Hoosiers also will host Creighton in the first ever Gavitt Games which features a Big Ten/Big East matchup.
The Big Ten home schedule which will see Maryland, Ohio State, Purdue, Northwestern, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and Wisconsin making trips to Assembly Hall. IU will go on the road to battle Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State , Rutgers, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and Wisconsin.
