Complete List of NSCAA Scholar All-Americans
BLOOMINGTON, Ind - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced their annual high school Scholar All-Americans recently and incoming IU freshman Abby Allen (Whitehouse, Ohio) was among the 46 girls from across the country to receive the honor.
The Scholar All-Americans will be recognized and presented their award at the 2015 NSCAA High School All-America Brunch on Saturday, Aug. 1. The event, in conjunction with the NSCAA Summer Symposium, will take place at Lake Buena Vista Palace in Orlando.
The forward at Anthony Wayne High School was a All-Ohio Academic team honoree as well as a National Honor Society honoree. She also earned the West Point Leadership Award and multiple Student of the Month accolades.
On the field she was a First Team All-Ohio recipient and was named district player of the year and the player of the year in her conference. Additionally, she garnered national attention when she was placed on the All-America Watch List by Top Drawer Soccer and the NSCAA, as she went on to set school records for career goals and assists in her senior year.
