BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — The Indiana University women's golf team is represented by senior Camille Chevalier and recent graduate Elizabeth Tong on the 2015 Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars team.
A total of 758 women's collegiate golfers were recognized by the organization. The criterion for selection to the All-American Scholar Team is a minimum 3.50 GPA.
Chevalier is having a strong summer season as she gears up for her final year in the Cream and Crimson. The Aix-en Provence, France native was recently crowned individual champion at the Gaveau Cup Championship of France, winning the match play title by beating Anyssia Herbaut 1 up in the final. Chevalier was a top-50 finisher at the 2015 Big Ten Championships and tied for 13th at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic this past winter.
This past spring Tong capped one of the most successful IU careers in recent memory, posting six top-20 finishes and qualifying as an individual for the 2015 NCAA Central Regional. Tong was runner-up at the Lady Buckeye Invitational in April, and also finished fifth at the Briar's Creek Invitational and tied for sixth at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational.
