BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Big Ten Network's summer bus tour of all 14 conference football camps stopped in Bloomington Tuesday to get a look at the Indiana Hoosiers prepare for the 2015 season.
The BTN crew was on the practice field filming and watching head coach Kevin Wilson's practice to get a better idea of what kind of team Indiana will have this year. The crew spent the day tweeting out information and writing stories for BTN.com and ended the day with on air interviews for "BTN Live."
"We get a perspective that not many people get to see at all," BTN's Howard Griffith said.
Indiana's Nate Sudfeld, Dan Feeney, Nick Mangieri and members of the coaching staff were all interviewed on BTN's temporary set located in the south end zone at Memorial Stadium.
Sudfeld also had the honor of signing his name on the BTN bus before heading off to class. The senior quarterback impressed the BTN personalities at practice with his play and his leadership.
"I think one of the things that's very clear is they have an elite quarterback," Griffith said. "Nate Sudfeld can throw with the best of them that are in this conference."
Sudfeld was just a piece of the offense that had Griffith and colleague Dave Revsine impressed.
Both talked about the strength of the offensive line and the Hoosiers running game. With all that's working for Indiana, Revsine said he expects the Hoosiers to have little trouble putting points on the scoreboard.
"I just feel like it's going to be back to the offense that we expect from a Kevin Wilson team," he said. "I know that everything that could go wrong did when Sudfeld got hurt last year. If he stays healthy, this is anoffense that can really move the ball."
Revsine did have a few questions about just who Sudfeld will be throwing to at receiver.
Despite Indiana not returning much production from last season, one player in particular did manage to catch his eye.
"Man, SImmie Cobbs looks like a good player," Revsine said.
Anthony Corsaro joined in on the fun in a slightly different way. He gave BTN a tour of Indiana's weight room that was streamed on Periscope after the players finished up taking turns going down a slip-n-slide.
"Honestly, it's fun. We have a great time," Revsine said. "It's not really that tough a gig."
