IU Women's Basketball B1G Schedule Announced

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Big Ten Conference released the 2015-16 women's basketball conference schedule on Thursday. Indiana will host nine Big Ten opponents in Assembly Hall as the conference slate will get started on Dec. 31 at Wisconsin.
"The Big Ten schedule once again presents a challenge and will provide excitement for our program and fans," head coach Teri Moren said. "When you combine the level of talent and the caliber of coaches, the Big Ten is the most competitive conference in the country. The schedule has a great balance this year and we are anxious to get started."
After IU battles the Badgers in Madison on New Year's Eve, Indiana will host Michigan on Jan. 3. The Hoosiers will then take to the road for a pair of games at Ohio State on Jan. 7 and at Purdue on Jan. 10.
Indiana will alternate its next six games between home and the road beginning with Michigan State on Jan. 13 in Assembly Hall followed by a trip to Williams Arena to take on Minnesota on Jan. 17. IU will then play Illinois (Jan. 20) at home, Northwestern (Jan. 24) on the road and Rutgers (Jan. 27) at home before wrapping up January at Maryland (Jan. 30).
The Hoosiers open February playing four of their first five contests of the month at home starting with back-to-back games in Assembly Hall against Iowa on Feb. 4 and Nebraska on Feb. 7. IU will make the quick trip over to Champaign, Ill. on Feb. 10 to take on the Illini before returning back to Bloomington for a pair of contests against Wisconsin (Feb. 14) and Minnesota (Feb. 18).
The Cream and Crimson will end regular season play with road games at Iowa (Feb. 21) and Nebraska (Feb. 24) before hosting Penn State on Feb. 27.
The Big Ten Tournament will return to Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind. March 2-6, 2016.
Game times, television and live stream information will be announced as it becomes available.
