Hoosiers Earn Top Honors at Boilermaker Challenge Cup

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Thanks to victories against Missouri and Baylor, the Indiana Women's Soccer team earned top honors at the Boilermaker Challenge Cup as the Hoosiers were named the tournament champion and saw five players selected to the All-Tournament team.
Cassidy Blacha, Sarah Stone, Marissa Borschke, Veronica Ellis and Emily Basten were all chosen to represent Indiana on the All-Tournament squad. In addition, Blacha earned Offensive MVP honors, while Stone was named Defensive MVP.
Blacha and Borschke both netted goals for Indiana over the weekend, while the defense recorded a pair of shutouts. Stone picked up 10 combined saves, including a season-high six on Friday against Missouri.
