BLOOMINGTON, Ind - The IU men's and women's cross country teams will head to Terre Haute, Ind. to take part in the 2015 Indiana Intercollegiate meet on Friday, Sept. 18. The first of four races will begin at 3:15 p.m. ET at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.

All college cross-country programs from the state of Indiana, no matter NCAA affiliation or size, will participate in the annual event.

The Indiana women have won the Indiana Intercollegiates team title in each of the last six seasons. The men's team has won three straight and six of the last seven. Redshirt junior Amanda Behnke took the individual championship in last year's women's race in West Lafayette.

The first race of the day will be the Women's 5K Open at 3:15 p.m. followed by the Men's 8K Open at 4 p.m.

The Women's 5K Championships will get started at 4:45 p.m. before the Men's 8K Championships at 5:30 p.m. Nine runners from each school can compete in the championship races.
