Indiana Baseball Fall Schedule Update Announced

Slate features an exhibition vs. Xavier on Oct. 8
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana baseball team has announced the remainder of its fall schedule, featuring intrasquad scrimmages, a scout day scrimmage, an exhibition with Xavier, a Fall World Series, an alumni golf outing and an alumni game.
The team will have an intrasquad scrimmage on Friday, Oct. 2 with the gates opening at 2:00 p.m. First pitch will begin at 2:45. The Hoosiers will follow that up with another scrimmage the next day with the gates opening at 10 a.m. for an 11 a.m. first pitch, leading into the football game against Ohio State at 3:30 p.m.
The following week, Indiana will host its scout day scrimmage on Oct. 7, starting around 3 p.m. IU welcomes the Xavier Musketeers to campus the following day, Oct. 8, at 4:30 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public.
Indiana's Fall World Series will take place Oct. 15, 16 and 18. The three-game series will also be part of Alumni weekend, featuring a golf outing on Oct. 16 and an Alumni Game on Oct. 17.
