Kuhn Named Co-Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week

Indiana sophomore Daniel Kuhn was named Co-Big Ten Athlete of the Week today. Kuhn eanred this honor for his excellent performance in the Indiana v. Tennessee Dual meet this past Saturday. This is the first time this season he has been honored by the Big Ten. Kuhn is the third Hoosier to win Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week honors. Markevious Roach and Madison Stenger won on December 16.
Kuhn won the 800m run in decisive fashion. He crossed the line with a time of 1:49.63. That time established the new Indiana v. Tennessee Dual Meet record and is also the fastest time nationally. His efforts helped lead the Hoosiers to a 66-47 victory over the Volunteers.
The Hoosiers will be back in action when they dual with Purdue this weekend in West Lafayette.
