Kuhn Nabs Second Big Ten Honor of the Season

Indiana sophomore Daniel Kuhn was named Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week today. It is Kuhn's second honor from the conference this season. He was named Co-Athlete of the Week on January 13th. Kuhn earned this honor for his record-breaking performance in the Rod McCravy Memorial meet this past weekend.
On Friday night Kuhn was the 800m leg of the Distance Medley Relay team that took first in the event. He split a time of 1:47.16. The team's overall time of 9:41.10 currently ranks as the top time in the country. The team consists of Markevious Roach, Matt Schwartzer, and Rorey Hunter.
On Saturday Kuhn placed second in the 800m run. His time of 1:48.13 broke the old school record set last season. It also stands as the fastest time in the Big Ten and third nationally.
The Hoosiers will be back in action as they host the Indiana University Relays this weekend.
