IU’s Webb Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University men's soccer goalkeeper Colin Webb was named the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Team for the second-straight season on Thursday.
Under head coach Todd Yeagley, the Hoosiers have had at least one CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree in six of his seven seasons at the helm of IU soccer.
A standout on the pitch and in the classroom, Webb is also a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree for the Hoosiers. On the field this season, Webb has helped the No. 5-ranked Hoosiers to a 9-1-6 record on the year, posting seven shutouts in his 14 starts this season.
First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballot, where first, second and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
The No. 5 Indiana Hoosiers will host the No. 13 Michigan State Spartans on Senior Day at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 30. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET.
