Setting The Scene
• Indiana (3-1, 1-0 Big Ten East) faces No. 2/2 Ohio State (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten East) at Ohio Stadium (104,944; FieldTurf) on Saturday, Oct. 8. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. EDT and ESPN will broadcast the game.
• With their 24-21 overtime victory over No. 17/16 Michigan State last weekend, the Hoosiers won the Old Brass Spittoon for the first time since 2006.
• It marked IU's first win over a ranked opponent since a 31-27 triumph at No. 18 Missouri on Sept. 20, 2014.
• Indiana last defeated a ranked Big Ten opponent on Oct. 14, 2006, a 31-28 victory over No. 15 Iowa.
• The Hoosiers received three votes in this week's AP Poll and Coaches Poll.
The Coaches
• Kevin Wilson is in his sixth season as Indiana head coach. Wilson led IU to the 2015 New Era Pinstripe Bowl, the program's first postseason appearance since 2007. He has mentored three first team All-Americans, 25 players who have either moved on to the NFL or received camp invites and a five-year program record 111 Academic All-Big Ten honorees. The offense has set 56 school records during his tenure.
• Urban Meyer is 54-4 (.931) in his fifth season as Ohio State head coach. Meyer owns a 158-27 (.854) record in his 15th overall year with stints at Bowling Green (2001-02), Utah (2003-04) and Florida (2005-10).

• Indiana has never defeated a team ranked No. 1 or 2 (0-28). The program's lone victory over a top-three team came on Nov. 25, 1967 – a 19-14 win over No. 3 Purdue in Bloomington to clinch a trip to the Rose Bowl.
• IU took No. 1 Ohio State down to the wire last season, falling 34-27 in Bloomington on Oct. 3.
• The Hoosiers have won three straight road games for the first time since 1982.
• Indiana has won five of its last six regular season games and three straight Big Ten games (longest streak since 4 in 1993).
• IU leads the Big Ten in passing offense (320.8, 17th nationally) and is 2nd in total offense (496.8, 22nd).
• Fifth-year senior Ricky Jones collected his second straight 100-yard game and the fifth of his career with five receptions for 124 yards against Michigan State. His five 100-yarders are tied for 10th on IU's all-time list.
• WR Mitchell Paige connected with QB Richard Lagow on a 5-yard throwback touchdown pass.
• The last Hoosiers receiver to throw a TD was O.J. Conner, a 51-yarder to Antwaan Randle El at Cincinnati on Sept. 26, 1998. The last IU quarterback to catch a TD was Kellen Lewis, a 71-yarder at Iowa on Sept. 29, 2007.
• Lagow is one of three FBS quarterbacks this season with a passing, rushing and receiving touchdown.

• For the second straight week, junior LB Tegray Scales led the Hoosiers in tackles. Scales matched a career-high and finished with a game-high 13 stops, his second straight double-digit effort and the third of his career.
