Setting The Scene
•Indiana (4-4, 2-3 B1G East) travels to Rutgers (2-6, 0-5 B1G East) on Saturday, Nov. 5. Kickoff is set for noon EDT at High Point Solutions Stadium (52,454; FieldTurf) on BTN.
•Saturday is the third meeting between IU and RU (leads series 2-0) and the second in Piscataway, N.J.
The Coaches
•Kevin Wilson is in his sixth season as Indiana head coach. Wilson led IU to the 2015 New Era Pinstripe Bowl, the program's first postseason appearance since 2007. He has mentored three first team All-Americans, 25 players who have either moved on to the NFL or received camp invites and a five-year program record 111 Academic All-Big Ten honorees. The offense has set 56 school records during his tenure.
•Chris Ash was named the 30th head football coach in Rutgers history on Dec. 7, 2015. He served as the defensive coordinator at Ohio State (co-, 2014-15), Arkansas (2013) and Wisconsin (2011-12) prior to his arrival in Piscataway.

•Redshirt junior LB Marcus Oliver earned Big Ten co-Defensive Player of the Week honors, and true freshman RB Tyler Natee collected Big Ten Freshman of the Week accolades after the team's 42-36 victory over Maryland.
•In the win, IU rushed for a season-high 414 yards, the third time over 400 rushing yards under head coach Kevin Wilson. The Hoosiers' 650 total yards against the Terrapins are tied for the fourth-most in school history.
•Junior RB Devine Redding (130), Natee (111) and junior QB Zander Diamont (104) each eclipsed the 100-yard mark, marking the 1st time (2nd time in program history) Indiana had three players reach the century mark in a single game since Nov. 30, 2013, against Purdue– Tre Roberson (154), Stephen Houston (120) and D'Angelo Roberts (113).
•Five different players scored on a rushing touchdown, which is believed to be the 1st time in program history that has happened against an FBS opponent. Five reached the end zone on the ground against Murray State on Sept. 6, 2008.
•For the 6th straight week, junior LB Tegray Scales led the team in tackles. He recorded his 6th consecutive game in double digits, the longest active streak nationally and longest in the B1G since 2012, with 13 stops, including a career-high 11 solos.
•Scales' six double-figure games put him 1st in the Big Ten (T-3rd nationally).
•He is 1st in solo stops (2nd nationally, 1st among Power 5 schools) and 1st in tackles per game (10.0, 13th) in the Big Ten.
•Oliver set the program career record (11) with a pair of forced fumbles. He finished with eight tackles and two sacks, his first career multi-sack game, and a career-best 2.5 TFLs.
•CB Rashard Fant's 15 passes defended and 14 pass breakups are 1st in the nation.
•The Hoosiers are 2nd in the Big Ten in passing offense (282.9, 26th nationally), 3rd in total offense (456.5) and first downs (178), and 4th in completion percentage (60.3), passing efficiency (135.1) and yards per completion (13.3).
•IU is holding opponents to 395.0 total yards per game, an improvement of 114.5 from last season, the 3rd-largest improvement in the country. Indiana has held its foes to 92.8 fewer passing yards (2nd nationally) and 11.1 fewer points (8th).
