Setting The Scene
•Indiana (5-6, 3-5 B1G East) closes out the 2016 regular season against Purdue (3-8, 1-7 B1G West) on Senior Day. Kickoff is set for noon EST on ESPNU at Memorial Stadium (52,929; FieldTurf) on Saturday, Nov. 26.
•The longtime rivals will battle for the Old Oaken Bucket, the trophy awarded to the winner of the annual game.
•Saturday's meeting marks the 92nd battle for the Bucket and the 119th overall meeting.
•IU has earned three consecutive Bucket victories for the first time since winning four straight from 1944-47.
The Coaches
•Kevin Wilson is in his sixth season as Indiana head coach. Wilson led IU to the 2015 New Era Pinstripe Bowl, the program's first postseason appearance since 2007. He has mentored three first team All-Americans, 25 players who have either moved on to the NFL or received camp invites and a five-year program record 111 Academic All-Big Ten honorees. The offense has set 57 school records during his tenure.
•Gerad Parker was elevated to interim head coach on Oct. 16, 2016. Parker is in his fourth season at Purdue. He spent his first two seasons as tight ends coach before he became wide receivers coach.

•Indiana has faced four top 10 opponents for the first time in program history.
•IU is holding its opponents to 382.0 total yards, an improvement of 127.3 from 2015, the largest improvement in the country. The Hoosiers have limited their foes to 94.1 fewer passing yards, also first nationally, and 10.0 fewer points (10th).
•The Hoosiers held No. 3 Michigan to 20 points, 59 passing yards and 284 total yards. The Wolverines entered the game averaging 44.5 points, 231.5 passing yards and 467.8 total yards per game.
•Over its last five games, Indiana has recorded 15 sacks and 52 tackles for loss.
•LB Tegray Scales is 1st in the Big Ten in tackles (106; 14th nationally) and solo stops (78; 2nd nationally, 1st among Power 5 schools), and 2nd in tackles for loss (16.5; T-13th).

•IU is T-3rd in the B1G in defensive TDs (2, T-31st nationally), 4th in 3rd down percentage (30.2, 10th), 5th in TFLs (78, T-26th), T-5th in fumbles recovered (6), 6th in passing efficiency (119.4, 34th) and INTs (10), and T-6th in sacks (24).
•The Hoosiers are 2nd in the conference in passing offense (292.5, 21st nationally), 3rd in yards per completion (13.6, 32nd), total offense (448.0), completion percentage (60.2) and first downs (240), and 4th in passing efficiency (137.2).
