Indiana 74, Illinois 47
• Indiana now leads the all-time series against Illinois by a 89-86 margin.
• The Hoosiers have won back-to-back games in Champaign for the first time since 1992 and 1993 Big Ten seasons. Last year, the Hoosiers topped the Illini by a score of 80-74.
• The 27-point margin of victory is the largest in the series in Champaign since Jan. 17, 1976, when IU won by 28 points (83-55).
• The 47 points allowed is the fewest points Indiana has allowed in a win since giving up 46 to Illinois in Bloomington on Jan. 26, 2014 (56-46 Indiana win).
• The 47 points allowed are also the fewest in a Big Ten road game since a 59-44 win at Northwestern on Jan. 2, 2002.
• Indiana held a +20 advantage in rebounds, the highest rebounding margin in favor of the Hoosiers in Big Ten play this year and the highest since a +23 against IPFW on Dec. 9.
• The Hoosiers were a perfect 7-of-7 at the free throw line in the game, the second time this season they were perfect from the charity stripe (10-of-10 vs. Wisconsin on Jan. 5).
• IU connected on 13-of-32 attempts from behind the 3-point line in the game, the 16th time in 29 games they have made at least 10 triples in a game and the eight time in 16 Big Ten games to this point.
• On the road in conference play, Indiana is now 5-3 this season. It's the most conference road wins since the 2012-13 team went 7-2 on their way to the Big Ten regular season title.
• Senior guard Kevin Yogi Ferrell now has 1,872 points in his career to remain in seventh place on the IU career list after dropping 27 points against the Illini. He is 108 shy of passing Alan Henderson for sixth on that list. He also made is 131st career start in the game tonight to set a new IU record.
• Ferrell also has 598 career assists, extending his IU record and is just two shy of moving into 10th place on the Big Ten career assists lists.
• Ferrell connected on 5-of-10 3-point field goals in the game, giving him 257 made triples in his career, passing Jordan Hulls to move into second place on the all-time list at Indiana. He trails A.J. Guyton (283) for first in school history. In Big Ten games, Ferrell has made 154 3-point field goals, just four shy of passing Guyton (157) for the most in IU history.
• Nick Zeisloft made his second start of the season as Robert Johnson missed the game with an ankle injury. Zeisloft went 4-of-7 from the 3-point line in the game, finishing with 14 points and two rebounds. In his last six games, Zeisloft is shooting 14-of-24 (58.3) from the 3-point line.
• Freshman Thomas Bryant scored the first seven points of the second half for the Hoosiers to help IU pull away after trailing by one at halftime. He finished with 14 points (5-of-5 FG) and eight rebounds in 26 minutes.
• Junior Troy Williams tallied seven points and five rebounds to increase his career scoring mark to 1,015 and move into 48th on the all-time list at IU.
• Graduate transfer Max Bielfeldt chipped in with four points and three rebounds off the bench.
• Freshman Juwan Morgan nailed his fourth 3-point field goal of the season to account for his three points in the game. He also hauled in four rebounds
