Postgame Notes
• With the win, Indiana finishes the regular season 20-10 overall and 12-6 in the Big Ten.
• The 20 wins set a program record for most wins in a regular season.
• The 12 Big Ten wins are the second most in school history and most since Indiana won 15 games during the 1982-83 Big Ten Championship season.
• Indiana finishes the season with a 14-0 record at home, the first undefeated season at home in program history and tied for the most wins at home in school history. It is the third time in school history Indiana has won 14 games at home (2013-14, 1997-98).
• The Indiana men's and women's basketball programs are a combined 30-0 at Assembly Hall this season.
• The Hoosiers have won 10 of their last 12 games.
• In the final 8:47 of the second quarter, the Hoosiers used a 23-8 run to go into halftime with a 44-19 lead.
• The Hoosiers held Penn State to 19 first half points, PSU's lowest first half points total of the season.
• Indiana committed five turnovers in the game, which is a season low.
• The Hoosiers tallied 22 assists on 28 field goals in the game. It is the fourth game this season Indiana has recorded 20 or more assists.
• Indiana outrebounded Penn State 38-34 and are now 14-2 on the season when it outrebounds an opponent.
• The Hoosiers held the Lady Lions to 20-of-53 from the field (37.7 percent) including 2-of-13 (15.4 percent) from 3-point range.
• Indiana connected on 15-of-19 from the free-throw line. The Hoosiers have made 200 more free throws than their opponents this season and going into the game led the NCAA in free-throws made.
• Indiana had five players score in double figures in the game for the third time this season. The Hoosiers are 3-0 in those games.
• Sophomore Tyra Buss notched her 34th consecutive game scoring in double-figures with her 16-point outing today.
• With two steals today, Tyra Buss is tied for ninth all-time in single season steals at IU (65).
• Buss' six free throws tied the Indiana single-season record for converted free throws (187).
• Sophomore Amanda Cahill recorded her 10th double-double of the season with 14 points and 14 rebounds, the most double-doubles by one player since the 2008-09 season.
• Cahill's 255 rebounds this season is the ninth-highest single-season total in program history.
• Cahill has now scored in double-figures in 27 of 30 games this season.
• Freshman Kym Royster had another efficient outing, scoring 10 points with a career-high two assists in 10 minutes of play. It was Royster's fifth game of the season with double-figures in scoring.
• Junior Karlee McBride drained two of the Hoosiers' five three pointers, marking her sixth consecutive game with a three-point field goal.
• Junior Alexis Gassion extended her double-figure scoring streak to seven games with her 13 points and a team-leading six assists.
• Junior Jenn Anderson tallied 11 points on 5-of-7 from the field, along with six rebounds. It's her ninth game this season scoring double-figures, and her third in the last four games.
• Freshman Danielle Williams set career highs with four points and two rebounds in five minutes of play.
