At Penn State

• Indiana leads the all-time series with Penn State, 35-11
• The Hoosiers out-rebounded Penn State by a 36-32 margin and have won or tied the rebounding battle in each of the first 11 games.
• With their 36.2 percent shooting from the field for the game, it is the first time this season that Indiana shot below 40 percent for a game.
• IU went 20-of-26 at the free throw line for the game, the second time in three games they have made 20 free throws. For the season, they have made 20 or more free throws five times.
• For the 17th time in 24 games, Indiana made at least nine 3-point field goals (9-of-27).
• IU finished the game with a 10-2 edge in fastbreak points
• Senior Kevin Yogi Ferrell scored 13 points and now has 1,793 points in his IU career, which is seventh all-time at IU. He needs 187 more points to pass Alan Henderson for sixth on that list (1,979).
• The 13 points for Ferrell also give him 953 in conference play for his career. He is 52 points behind Kent Benson (1,004) for 10th on the all-time scoring list in Big Ten games at Indiana.
• Ferrell also dished out five assists against Penn State to extend his IU record to 577. That total is just 10 shy of breaking into the top 10 in Big Ten history (Eric Snow – 599). He also has 284 in conference play, which is third in program history, just 29 behind Quinn Buckner for second (313).
• Ferrell also made a 3-point field goal in the game and has made at least one is 88 out of his last 89 games.
• Graduate student Nick Zeisloft came off the bench to lead IU in scoring with 14 points on 4-of-7 shooting from behind the 3-point line.
• In the last four road games, Zeisloft is 11-of-25 (44.0 percent) from behind the 3-point line.
• Freshman Thomas Bryant was the third Hoosier to reach double figures with 10 points and eight rebounds.
• Sophomore Robert Johnson had a strong all-around game with six points, five assists, seven rebounds and two steals.
• Junior Troy Williams tallied nine points and six rebounds in 20 minutes for the Hoosiers.
• Graduate transfer Max Bieldfeldt connected on a pair of 3-point field goals in the game for his six points. It's just the third time he has made multiple 3-point field goals in a game this season (Morehead State, Illinois).
• Freshman Juwan Morgan was 3-of-4 at the free throw line for his three points while also grabbing two rebounds.
