Postgame Notes
• Indiana's win over Nebraska is its first victory over the Cornhuskers since a 67-61 win in Assembly Hall on December 5, 2010.
• Indiana improved to 11-0 at home this season, the best home start, on record, in program history. The Hoosiers are the only team in the Big Ten with an undefeated record at home this season.
• IU's seven Big Ten wins are its most since the 2009-10 when the team also won seven Big Ten contests that season.
• The last time the Hoosiers won at least seven Big Ten games in the first 12 conference games was the 2008-09 season.
• Indiana held Nebraska to 47 points, just the second Cornhusker opponent to hold them under 50 this season (at No. 1 UConn on , 46 points). Nebraska averages 76 points per game.
• Nebraska came into the game averaging 76.0 points per game, the Hoosiers held NU 29 points below its season average.
• The last time Indiana held two Big Ten opponents under 50 points (this year Rutgers-48, Nebraska-47) was the 2005-06 season (Michigan-44 and Illinois-48).
• The Hoosiers have held opponents to 50 points or less in four games this season (Chattanooga-43, Indiana State-50, Rutgers-48, Nebraska-47). The last time Indiana accomplished this was in 2012-13 when IU held five opponents under 50.
• Nebraska did not score more then 13 points in any quarter for the game and Indiana held the Cornhuskers to 20-of-56 (35.7 percent) shooting from the field.
• Indiana forced Nebraska into 26 turnovers, the most for an IU opponent this season. The Hoosiers held a 23-9 advantage in points off turnovers.
• The Hoosiers outrebounded Nebraska 45-41, including 18 offensive rebounds, and are 10-1 this season when they outrebound their opponent.
• Trailing 18-14 in the second quarter, the Hoosiers used a 10-0 run and held Nebraska scoreless for 4:28 of game time to go up 24-18 with 3:41 left in the second period.
• Sophomore Tyra Buss posted her third double-double of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Buss also added a season-high seven steals with six assists. Buss has scored in double figures in each game this season and dating back to last year 28 straight games.
• Sophomore Amanda Cahill recorded her seventh double-double of the season (13th of her career) with 16 points and a season-high 14 rebounds. She added five assists.
• Junior Alexis Gassion scored 15 points and grabbed three rebounds.
