Postgame Notes at Iowa

• The win clinches the outright Big Ten Championship for Indiana, the 22nd conference title in school history. That total is tied with Purdue for the most in conference history.
• It is the 12th time out of those 22 titles that Indiana has won it outright.
• It's the second conference championship for Indiana in the last four years, marking the first time since 1991 and 1993 that Indiana won two conference titles in a four year span.
• Since the start of the 2011-12 season, IU has the top regular season winning percentage against Top 25 teams in the Big Ten, posting a 22-16 mark (57.8).
• Indiana also clinches the No. 1 seed for the Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis next week. The last time IU had the No. 1 seed was at the 2013 Big Ten Tournament.
• The 14 Big Ten wins are the most for IU since the 2012-13 season when they finished 14-4. With one game remaining in the regular season, if Indiana gets to 15 wins it would be the first time since they posted a 17-1 mark in the 1992-93 season.
• Indiana is now 100-75 all-time against Iowa and has won the last two meetings in Iowa City (69-65 on Dec. 31, 2012).
• IU shot 50.8 percent from the floor for the game, the 16th time this year where they shot 50 percent or better.
• Indiana was 11-of-22 from the 3-point line, the eighth time this year shooting 50 percent or better from long range.
• The 11 made 3-point field goals is the 17th time making 10 or more triples in a game this season, and the third game in a row.
• IU finished with a 34-30 edge in points in the paint and a 18-7 advantage in points off turnovers.
• Iowa shot 38.8 percent from the field for the game, making it the second straight opponent that Indiana has held under 40.0 percent shooting. Overall, it's the
• Senior Kevin Yogi Ferrell led all scorers with 20 points, including a 3-pointer inside the last minute to extend the IU lead to five points. It's his 29th career game of 20 or more points.
• Ferrell has 1,892 career points to remain in seventh place. He needs 88 more points to pass Alan Henderson for sixth place on the IU career scoring list. He has 1,052 career points in Big Ten play, good for 10th place and just 10 points shy of passing Greg Graham for ninth on the IU career list.
• With his five assists against the Hawkeyes, he now has 603 for his career, becoming the sixth player in Big Ten history to surpass 600 career assists.
• Ferrell also becomes just the second player (Dee Brown, Illinois) in Big Ten history to have 1,800 points, 600 assists and 400 rebounds.
• Ferrell has now made 261 3-point field goal in his career, the second-most in IU history. He has also made 158 in Big Ten play, passing A.J. Guyton for the most in IU history.
• In the last two games – at Illinois and at Iowa – Ferrell is 9-of-18 from behind the 3-point line.
• Junior Troy Williams tallied 15 points to give him 1,030 for his career, which is tied with Butch Joyner for 47th on the all-time scoring list at Indiana.
• Freshman Thomas Bryant registered his second double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds, including a clutch offensive rebound off a missed free throw in the final minute that helped extend the lead.
• Redshirt senior Nick Zeisloft, who got the start in the place of the injured Robert Johnson, scored 11 points and grabbed four rebounds. Last week at Illinois, also a start, he scored 14 points. His four rebounds against Iowa matched his season best.
• Since Feb. 1, Zeisloft is 19-of-35 (54.3) from behind the 3-point line.
• Graduate transfer Max Bielfeldt scored eight points and grabbed two rebounds in 16 minutes off the bench, including a 2-of-3 effort from the 3-point line.
• Freshman OG Anunoby posted six points and six rebounds in 24 minutes off the bench. The six rebounds are one shy of his season high.
• Freshman Juwan Morgan also contributed off the bench, scoring five points and grabbing five boards in 14 minutes. The five rebounds ties his season high.
• Junior Collin Hartman score four points and handed out three assists in 18 minutes while battling foul trouble. The three assists ties a season high for Hartman and it's the ninth time he has been credited with exactly three assists in a game this season.
