Hoosiers Set to Host Spring Bash

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana volleyball team has been working hard this spring and will put some of that work to the test as they host the Spring Bash on Saturday April 2, starting at 9:00 a.m. at University Gym.
The Hoosiers will welcome Indiana State, Purdue and Tennessee to University Gym on Saturday for the event.
"It's going to be a lot of fun to have competition since it's hard with only 10 players in the gym," IU head coach Sherry Dunbar-Kruzan said. "It is a chance for us to see something different across the net and to take the things we are working on in practice to see if they are working."
Indiana will take on Indiana State at 9:00 a.m., matchup with Tennessee at 12:45 p.m. and battle Purdue at 3:15 p.m. The other three non-IU teams will also play each other during the day.
"We have a lot of things we want to accomplish this spring and we have had great attitudes and work ethic so far," Dunbar-Kruzan said. "We are working on some technique things to get us ready for the fall."

10:15 a.m. – Purdue vs. Tennessee
11:30 a.m. – Indiana State vs. Purdue
12:45 p.m. – Indiana vs. Tennessee
2:00 p.m. – Tennessee vs. Indiana State
3:15 p.m. – Indiana vs. Purdue
University Gymnasium is located east of campus at the former University School Complex on the northeast corner of the Ind. 45/46 Bypass and 10th Street intersection.
