Myers’ hat trick leads Indiana to their sixth consecutive win
BOSTON – The Indiana water polo team made solid use of another high-scoring first half on their way to a 13-5 win over Siena at Blodgett Pool on Sunday afternoon. The Hoosiers' 10 goals in the first half put to rest any doubt that they'd sweep the weekend and extend their winning streak to six games. Indiana moves to 9-4 on the season, while the Siena Saints slide to 1-12.

Game 3 (1:00 p.m. ET): Indiana 13, Iona 5
Indiana aimed to build momentum from their two wins on Saturday in their game against Siena on Sunday afternoon. The Hoosiers, led on the attack by Sarah Myers' hat trick, led the game wire-to-wire and matched their largest margin of victory this season.
Myers led nine Hoosiers on the score sheet with her hat trick, her fourth multi-goal game of the season. Other Hoosiers scoring in plurality were offensive stalwarts Kelly Matthews and Candyce Schroeder, who each netted two goals. The pair combined for 16 goals over the three games this weekend.
After that, six other Hoosiers entered the scoring ledger with one goal: Kate Pipkin, Jennifer Beadle, Kaybree Albright, Karrie Kozokar, Bronwyn Smith and Sarah Young.
MacKenzie Bonk took care of business in the cage with eight saves while adding three steals and two assists in transition.
Indiana rolled through the first half with 10 goals, split down the middle with a Siena score in the second quarter. Goals from Myers, Young, and Rosenthal kept the Saints at bay down the stretch.
Four different Hoosiers scored multiple goals in a single game this weekend.
With that win, Indiana improves to 3-0 all-time against Siena. They leave the weekend a perfect 22-0 all-time against this weekend's opposition.
