Hoosiers Fall at Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Indiana men's tennis team dropped a 4-1 match at Purdue on Tuesday night at the Schwartz Tennis Center.

The Boilermakers won matches at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to earn the doubles point and get out to a 1-0 lead in the match.

Freshman Antonio Cembellin won his sixth match of the season with a 6-0, 6-4 victory at No. 6 singles to put the Hoosiers on the board.

Junior Bloomington native Matthew McCoy won his first set 6-4, but did not finish his match before the outcome of the overall match had been decided.

Up next the Hoosiers travel out west to take on Texas Tech (March 14) on their spring break trip to San Diego, California.
