Several Personal Bests Set at Stanford Invitational

Early in the day Owen Skeete and Bryce Millar both set personal bests in the 5,000m run. Skeete finished second in his heat with a time of 14:11.93. Millar finished third in the heat with a time of 14:12.49, the fastest time run by a true freshman since 2009.

Katherine Receveur and Haley Harris also set personal bests in the afternoon section of the 5,000m run. Receveur ran a 16:51.63, and Harris ran a 17:06.29.
Amanda Behnke finished the 5,000m run with a time of 16:31.22.

Jeremy Coughler finished fourth in the second heat of the 5,000m run with a time of 14:00.73. Mark Chandler was tenth with a time of 14:10.24.

Rorey Hunter took third in the third heat of the 5,000m run with a time of 13:50.09. Matt Schwartzer finished ninth with a time of 13:56.66.

In the final heat of the men's 5,000m run, Jason Crist finished with a time of 13:58.82.

Chanli Mundy closed out the evening on a high note in the 10,000m run. She finished with a time of 34:14.01, which is the seventh fastest mark in school history.

Sydney Clute and Sophie Gutermuth will both be in action tomorrow at the Texas Relays. The women's pole vault is set to begin around 1:00PM EST.
