BLOOMINGTON, Indiana – The Big Ten Conference announced its all-conference honorees on Tuesday and Indiana senior Camille Chevalier was named Second Team All-Big Ten. It's the first all-conference honor for Chevalier, who helped the Hoosiers earn an NCAA Regional bid for the first time since 2013.
Chevalier led Indiana with a 73.50 scoring average this season, posting a score of 75 or better in 17 of 28 rounds this season. She has seven Top 25 finishes in stroke play this season and picked up her first collegiate win at the Lady Buckeye Invitational (April 16-17) by closing with a 4-under par 68 in the final round. Earlier in the year at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown, Chevalier matched the IU single-round record by posting a 67 in the first round and would go on to set the school record for lowest score in a three round tournament (208).
With Chevalier's help, Indiana earned its first bid to an NCAA Regional since 2013. The Hoosiers will compete at the regional hosted by Texas A&M at Traditions Club Golf Course in Bryan, Texas, from May 5-7.
Indiana junior Ana Sanjuan was the team's Sportsmanship Award honoree. The full list of Big Ten honorees is below:
