School Record Highlights Friday's Track Action

The 4x1500m relay team of Olivia Hippensteel, Brenna Calder, Katherine Receveur, and Brianna Johnson finished fourth with a school record time of 17:49.19.

The sprint medley team of Tyler Bellaire, Derek Grimmer, Marco Burkert, and Jordan Huntoon crossed in fourth with a time of 3:24.91. The women's team of Maya Caudle, Jaela Gay, Jeyland Valentin, and Haley Harris finished seventh with a time of 4:06.98.

Zach Reitzug finished eighth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 53.21. Diquis Manley took 12^th with a time of 53.72.

The team of Matt Schwartzer (2:59.81), Markevious Roach (50.12), Daniel Kuhn (1:50.82), and Rorey Hunter (4:09.44) finished 12^th in the College Men's Distance Medley Championship of the America Invitational heat. They finished with a time of 9:50.18, even after a fall knocked them down a few spots. The men's 4x400m team of Reitzug, Kuhn, Burkert, and Manley took 19^th with a time of 3:14.81

Ari Nelson finished 14^th in the long jump at the Drake Relays. Her best mark of 5.74m (18ft-10in) came on her final attempt.

The men's 4x100m relay team of Bellaire, Cornelius Strickland, Derek Grimmer, and Markevious Roach finished 28^th with a time of 41.65. The men's 4x200m team that consisted of Bellaire, Strickland, Grimmer, and Phillip Moore crossed in 15^th with a time of 1:28.33. The women's 4x200m team of Caudle, Gay, Taylor Williams, and Riley Egbula took 26^th with a time of 1:41.41.

Tomorrow's slate will include three running events at the Penn Relays, three field events at the Drake Relays, and a handful of throwing events at the Georgia Invitational.
