4/7/2016 9:59:00 AM | Men's Basketball
Indiana head coach Tom Crean was recently listed as one of the top 10 NCAA men's basketball coaches for the next 10 years in an article on Forbes.com. He helped guide the Hoosiers to their third Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament in the last five years in 2015-16, as IU finished the year ranked No. 9 in the USA Today Coaches poll. In the last five years, Crean has a record of 120-53 and has guided the Hoosiers to outright Big Ten titles in 2013 and 2016.
Here's the excerpt from the article on Forbes.com:
"Tom Crean, Indiana Crean reached the Final Four at Marquette in 2003, which is a long time ago. Yet, he is only 50 years old after eight years at Indiana. In the last five years Indiana has reached the Sweet Sixteen three times. No one would be surprised if Indiana went on a deeper run soon. Crean's overall mark is 338-215 after 17 seasons at Indiana (8) and Marquette (9)."
