Youth Football Clinic - 5 p.m. Memorial Stadium Practice Field Children ages 5-12 are invited to participate in a special one-hour youth football clinic on the practice field north of Memorial Stadium. The non-contact clinic (no helmets or pads) will feature different stations led by former Hoosier football players and coaches. At the conclusion of the clinic, participants will get a chance to run out onto the Memorial Stadium field, complete with fireworks, just like the real Hoosiers. Children participating in the clinic must have a signed waiver. Parents and guardians should bring clinic participants to the practice field gate, near Mellencamp Pavilion, for check-in. Gates to the practice field open at 4:45 p.m. Early-Bird Special! Free Hot Dogs & Soft Drinks Free hot dogs and soft drinks will be available to the first 1,000 fans in Memorial Stadium. Memorial Stadium concessions stands will also be open that evening for the game. For seating at the game, please enter through the East side stadium gates only. Stadium gates open at 6 p.m. 2016 Cream & Crimson Game Presented by Smithville Fiber – 6:30 p.m. Memorial Stadium Fresh off their appearance in the 2015 Pinstripe Bowl, catch a preview of the 2016 Indiana Hoosiers. Admission to the Cream & Crimson Game is free. Stadium gates open at 5:30 p.m. Players will warm-up starting at approximately 6 p.m. For seating, at the game, please enter through the East side stadium gates only. Indiana Football will host seven home games this fall including their home opener on Saturday, Sept. 10 against the Ball State Cardinals. Little 500 Bike Races – April 15-16 Armstrong Stadium Enjoy the pageantry and excitement of the World's Greatest College Weekend by attending the Men's and Women's Little 500 bike races. The 28th Annual Women's race takes place just before the IU Spring Football game beginning at 4 p.m. The 65th Annual Men's race starts at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. Delta Airlines will sponsor free petty-cab rides, from Armstrong Stadium to the Spring Football Game, following the Women's race on Friday evening, April 15. Little 500 Concert Presented by Union Board Memorial Stadium (Immediately following the Cream & Crimson Game – Approx. 8:30 p.m.) IU students, celebrate Little 500 Weekend with a live concert at Memorial Stadium. Union Board presents EDM duo sensation Flosstradamus as they make their Bloomington debut as part of the 2016 World's Greatest College Weekend. Students can purchase concert tickets by visiting IUHoosiers.com. Special VIP and general admission seating available. Also, tickets can be billed to student Bursar accounts through Tuesday, April 12. |
