UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Freshman Tara Trainer and sophomore Taylor Uden have been named to the Big Ten All-Tournament Team, the conference announced Saturday night.
Trainer, a native of Lebanon, Ohio, tossed a complete game shutout to lead Indiana past Wisconsin on Thursday night. She picked up six strikeouts while surrendering just four hits and did not allow a Badger runner to get past third base in Indiana's first Big Ten Tournament victory since 2006.
Uden, a native of Glendale, Ariz., went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a home run in that victory against Wisconsin. In addition, she picked up a hit in the loss to No. 2 Michigan on Friday night.
