13 Hoosiers Playing Summer Baseball

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Highlighted by Logan Sowers and Luke Miller playing in the Cape Cod League, a total of 13 Indiana Baseball players from the 2016 roster will take place in summer baseball leagues.
The Hoosiers will be represented in seven different leagues on nine different teams. Play has either already begun or will begin in early June. Fans can follow each of the 13 participating players throughout the summer by clicking HERE.
Sowers, who won the Cape Cod League Home Run Derby last summer, will be making his second-straight appearance in the league in 2016. After playing with the Wareham Gatemen in 2015, Sowers will be joining the Orleans Firebirds this summer. Also joining Sowers in "The Cape" will be Luke Miller, who is playing for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox.
Also representing Indiana up in the Northeast portion of the country will be Scotty Bradley, Chandler Sedat and Jonathan Stiever in the New England League. Sedat and Stiever will play for the Vermont Mountaineers while Bradley is joining the Mystic Schooners.
In addition to the New England region of the Northeast, two Hoosiers are taking part in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League in New York. Pitchers Tim Herin and Pauly Milto will both be members of the Amsterdam Mohawks.
IU's other representatives on the East Coast will be Isaiah Pasteur, who will be playing for the Baltimore Dodgers in the Cal Ripken League, along with Eric Hansen, who will play for the Woodstock River Bandits in the Valley League.
Two Hoosiers will stay in the state of Indiana as Brian Hobbie and Chris Lowe will play for the Terre Haute Rex in the Prospect League. In Wisconsin, Laren Eustace and B.J. Sabol take part in the Northwoods League, both playing for the Green Bay Bullfrogs.
