Oladipo, Zeller Open Camp with USA Basketball Select Team

LAS VEGAS - On Monday, a pair of former Indiana basketball players - Victor Oladipo and Cody Zeller - joined the 24-man USA Select Team at the training camp for the USA National Team in Las Vegas. It's the first of four days of practices against the national team for Oladipo and Zeller as part of the Select team.
Select portions of the practice over the next four days will be available on NBA TV.
Oladipo, who was named to the 2015-16 USA Basketball National Team on Aug. 6, 2015, participated in the 2015 USA Basketball Showcase and recorded 25 points, nine rebounds, five assists and two steals in 23 minutes of action for the USA Blue Team. Named as a member of the 2014 USA Select Team, he trained with and against 2014 USA National Team that was preparing for the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup. The 2013 No. 2 draft pick averaged 16.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists playing in 72 games for the Orlando Magic in 2015-16.
Zeller, who was previously a member of the 2014 USA Men's Select Team, averaged career highs in points per game (8.7), rebounds per game (6.2) and field goal percentage (.529) in 73 games (60 starts) in 2015-16. He totaled a career-best five double-doubles and 28 games with double-figure scoring, helping the Hornets to the fifth-best record in Charlotte NBA history (48-34) and the best since the 1999-2000 season. The Washington, Indiana product saw action in all seven of Charlotte's playoff games, averaging 8.4 points on .553 shooting and 5.3 rebounds in 19.6 minutes per game.
