For the second consecutive year, Armored Athlete – led by former Hoosiers Jordan Hulls, Will Sheehey and Christian Watford – have advanced to the "Super 16" of The Basketball Tournament. This Friday (July 22), they will take on the Golden Eagles Alumni at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2. Fans can also watch online via WatchESPN.

Armored Athlete opened the tournament with a 92-60 win over Midwest Dream on July 16 and then came back the following day and topped the Canton Bulldogs by a score of 101-72.

Last year, Armored Athlete advanced to the round of eight before falling to Ants Alumni.

'The Basketball Tournament' is an open-application, 5-on-5, single-elimination, winner-take-all basketball tournament. In 2014, the winning team took home $500,000. In 2015, the winning team took home $1 millions and this year the winning team will claim $2 million.
