CORAL SPRINGS, Florida – Indiana senior Camille Chevalier was one of 828 women's collegiate golfers across all divisions that were recognized by the Women's Golf Coaches Association today as an All-American Scholar.
To be named an All-American scholar, the student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, which is among the highest requirements for an academic award in all of collegiate athletics.
For Chevalier, who graduated from IU in May with a degree in Liberal Studies, it is the third consecutive season that she has received the honor. She helped guide the Hoosiers to the NCAA postseason during the 2015-16 season while she posted a scoring average of 73.61 to set a new IU single-season record. Her career scoring average of 75.65 also ranks as the fifth-best career scoring average in program history.
