Hoosiers Victorious at ITA Summer Circuit

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Sophomore Afonso Salgado and senior Stefan Lugonjic teamed up to win the doubles title and Sophomore Antonio Cembellin took the singles title on Monday at the ITA Summer Circuit.
Salgado and Lugonjic took the doubles title with an 8-6 win over fellow Hoosiers, incoming freshman Will Piekarsky and Cembellin.
In the singles final it was another all IU matchup with Cembellin vs. Salgado. Cembellin prevailed with a 7-6, 6-1 victory.
Up next is the ITA Summer Circuit Nationals, Aug. 13-16 in Bloomington, Ind.
