BLOOMINGTON – Indiana Women's Basketball fans can now purchase season tickets for the upcoming 2016-17 campaign inside newly renovated Assembly Hall.
"Assembly Hall is one of the premier venues in all of college basketball, and we are so happy to call it home," Third-year head coach Teri Moren said. "Season ticket holders are the backbone of our fan base who have helped us create a strong home court advantage. I'm looking forward to continuing that tradition in the 2016-17 season."
A total of 14 regular season games are slated for home play in 2016-17, with six non-conference and eight Big Ten games awaiting fans this season. As in the past, the team's exhibition game will be free of charge.

In 2015-16, the Hoosiers finished a perfect 14-0 in Assembly Hall last season, the longest streak without a loss at home and tied for the most home wins in school history. IU was the only team in the Big Ten that ended the season without a home loss and one of only 14 teams nationally without a home defeat.
In addition, Indiana defeated three ranked opponents on the year, tying for the most wins over ranked foes in regular season play in program history. It marked just the fourth time ever that IU had defeated three ranked foes in regular season play and first since 1997-98.
Indiana connected on 518 free throws, the third-most made as a team in a single year in program history and the most made by an IU team since 1997-98. The Hoosiers outscored their opponents 518-306 (+212) from the free throw line this season. Those free throws helped IU tally 2,361 points on the season, the third-most points ever scored in school history in a single year.
Returning for their junior campaigns and highlighting the IU roster are All-Big Ten selections Tyra Buss (First Team) and Amanda Cahill (Second Team). In all, ten letterwinners from a season ago return to Assembly Hall while five newcomers will be added to the mix in 2016-17.
Opponents, dates and times for the 2016-17 season will be made available at a later date.
