On the court
The best part about being an IU student-athlete is:
Being able to call this beautiful campus home and all of the athletes family, especially my volleyball teammates, coaches, and staff. Plus, all of this comes with the opportunity to get a world-class education.
What I like most about Coach Dunbar and the staff:
Their unwavering dedication to our team and their absolute belief in our abilities and chances for success.
I'm most looking forward to _______this season:
Working toward a BIG10 championship and national tournament wins with my teammates
I choose my jersey number because:
That was the number I grew up seeing my dad wear as he coached his college baseball team.
My pre-match superstitions:
I don't have any at this time. You should ask again after me first collegiate season… :)
My most memorable moment as a volleyball player:
Probably the sectional final match of my senior high school season. Not only did my team beat our conference rival, but my future IU Teammates took time out of their already busy travel schedules while they were in town to play Wisconsin to come support me and my high school teammates.
This season will be a success if:
We are the hardest workers and fiercest competitors in the gym for every match.
Off the court
I first started playing volleyball when I was:
11 - that was my very first club season
My favorite activity outside of volleyball is:
Watching baseball and spending time with friends and family
My most prizes possession is:
My visual goal poster. I made it to be a private, daily reminder of what I would like to achieve, both short-term and long-term.
My favorite game to play when I was in elementary school:
I loved paying kickball, capture the flag, dodgeball, and volleyball foursquare. I liked changing it up ever day.
The one talent I wish I had:
Better dance skills.
Favorite food:
Sushi or steak.
If I didn't play volleyball I would play:
Most realistically, I would play basketball, but I would have loved to play baseball.
My dream job is:
To be a neurosurgeon or a volleyball coach.
One unique thing about me:
I don't drink caffeine.
The best movie I saw this summer was:
Either Suicide Squad or Batman vs. Superman
Last concert I went to/favorite musical group or artist:
I have many favorite artists, including: P!nk, Whitney Houston, Journey, and Bon Jovi.
