Hoosiers Release 2016-17 Schedule

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana women's tennis team will play a challenging 2016-17 slate starting with four tournaments in the fall and then picking up in January with an opening tournament and then dual match play.
The Hoosiers will kick off the season Sept. 16-18 with the Hoosier Classic and face off against teams from Cincinnati, Western Michigan, SIUE, Lipscomb and Wright State.
In October Indiana will travel to Middle Tennessee State for the ITA Midwest Regional Oct. 22-24 and also host a tournament Oct. 21-23 for players and teams not qualifying for the ITA Regional.
The Hoosiers dual match opener will be against Western Michigan on Saturday January 21 at 11:00 a.m. ET.
In the non-conference portion of the schedule Indiana will match up against Cincinnati, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Kentucky, West Virginia and more.
The Big Ten opener will be played on Saturday March 11 in Iowa City against the Hawkeyes. The first chance fans will have to see the Hoosiers in Big Ten play at home will come on Saturday March 25 when they host Michigan and the following day at home against Michigan State.
The Big Ten Tournament this season is scheduled for April 27-30 at Nebraska.
