Indiana Announces 2016 Field Hockey Coverage on BTN Plus

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University Athletics announced Thursday the coverage schedule for the upcoming 2016 field hockey season, which begins on Friday, August 26 at 3:00 p.m. ET versus Louisville. The Hoosiers' entire home schedule, along with select away matchups against Big Ten opponents, will be available on BTN Plus and BTN2Go.com.
As of August 4, the Hoosiers will make nine appearances on BTN2Go, including three non-conference games and six games against Big Ten opponents. Out-of-conference games provided by BTN Plus include the home opener versus Louisville (Aug. 26), Indiana's Patriot Day matchup against New Hampshire (Sept. 11), and the Hoosiers' Alumni Day game versus Boston College (Oct. 9).
Indiana's Big Ten home schedule against Rutgers (Sept. 23), Iowa (Sept. 30), Northwestern (Oct. 7), and Ohio State (Oct. 21) will broadcast via BTN Plus, as will the away games at Maryland (Sept. 17) and at Michigan (Oct. 14). Indiana's contest versus Rutgers on September 23 will also air live on the Big Ten Network at 3:30 p.m. ET.
BTN Plus programming includes non-televised games and events available on BTN2Go with a purchase of a BTN Plus subscription. BTN Plus content features live games produced by students at Big Ten universities. A subscription to BTN Plus on BTN2Go does not require a Big Ten Network TV subscription with a TV provider.
