Saturday’s Practice Open to Public Following Hoosiers Outrun Cancer

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana head football coach Kevin Wilson announced today that practice will be open to the public inside Memorial Stadium following the Hoosiers Outrun Cancer awards ceremony at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17. Fans are asked to enter using the West side of Memorial Stadium and to sit in the West stands.
Saturday marks the 17th running of Hoosiers Outrun Cancer. Participants can run in memory of a loved one, walk in honor of someone battling cancer, gather a fun team for a fantastic cause. The dedication and commitment from a community that has helped raise more than $2.3 million in support of the IU Health Olcott Center.
The Olcott Center provides patients and their families with information on cancer diagnosis, treatment, early detection and prevention – all free of charge thanks in large part to Hoosiers Outrun Cancer and the amazing runners, walkers and volunteers who support the race.

IU (2-0) returns to action to action when it hosts Wake Forest (2-0) on Saturday, Sept. 24. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. and BTN will televise the game.
