Garrett Sits in Top 20 after Day One of Cardinal Classic

MUNCIE, Ind. – Redshirt freshman Carolina Garrett sits in a tie for 20th as three IU individuals completed the first two rounds of the Cardinal Classic at The Players Club on Monday.
Garrett posted back-to-back rounds of 75 (150) to open the 54-hole tournament. Teammate redshirt senior Paige Crafton is in the top 40 after two rounds of 77 (154) to put her in a tie for 38th.
Freshman Emma Fisher saw her first collegiate action on Monday, as she finished the day with 84 (168) in both rounds to sit in 86th place overall.
Tuesday's final round of 18 holes will begin with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Fans can follow the action on Golfstat.
