Green Accepts Invite to East-West Shrine Game

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana fifth-year senior defensive lineman Ralph Green III has accepted an invitation to the 92nd East-West Shrine Game. The game will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21, at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., kicking off at 3 p.m. EST live on NFL Network.
Green will be a member of the West team and the fourth Hoosier in as many years to play in the game: quarterback Nate Sudfeld (2016), offensive lineman Collin Rahrig (2015) and tight end Ted Bolser (2014).
Fifth-year senior offensive lineman Dan Feeney will play in the 2017 Senior Bowl on Saturday, Jan. 28. Fifth-year senior wide receiver Ricky Jones participated in the 2017 College Gridiron Showcase.
Green, a 2016 honorable mention All-Big Ten selection, collected 92 tackles, four sacks and 21 TFLs in 47 career games. In 2016, he led the Hoosiers defensive line (3rd on the team) with 8.5 tackles for loss to go along with 31 stops, 21 solo, one sack and two pass breakups.
