BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana women's tennis team will start the spring semester by hosting the IU Winter Invitational from Jan. 14-16 at the IU Tennis Center.

Competition will start on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with the first round of doubles, with the first round of singles following at 12:00 p.m.
Indiana head coach Ramiro Azcui said this weekend is about getting back in a competitive mode.
"This will be a great warmup for us as we get ready to start dual match play the following week," Azcui said. "We have been playing a lot in practice and our goal this weekend is getting into a competitive mode."
The Hoosiers will start dual match play with home matches against Western Michigan and Butler on Jan. 21. The Indiana schedule features 18 home dual matches throughout the winter and spring. This will lead up to the Big Ten Tournament, which is scheduled for April 27-30 in Champaign, Ill.
