IU Cheer Spring Tryout Clinic Set for Feb. 18

BLOOMINGTON, ind. - Indiana University Cheerleading will be hosting their Spring Tryout Clinic on Saturday, Feb.18, 2017. The clinic will be held from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. inside Gladstein Fieldhouse located at 17th Street and Fee Lane on the Bloomington campus.
This clinic is designed for all individuals interested in trying out for the 2017-18 Cream (Coed) and Crimson (All Girl) teams with the IU Cheerleading program. We welcome the following students to attend:
• Any current Indiana University-Bloomington student
• Any transfer students to IU-Bloomington
• Any high school student (recommended more for Juniors/Seniors)
Cost is $45.00 per person.

Clinic Schedule for February 18, 2017:
10:30 AM-11:30 AM - Registration - Please plan to enter the north east doors of Gladstein Fieldhouse. Parking is in Gate 12 for the clinic.
11:30 AM-12:15 PM - Welcome, Tryout Information, Rules, and Medical information
12:15 PM - 1:15 PM - Stunt Session 1 and Q&A Session for Parents and Coaches
1:15 PM - 1:20 PM - Break
1:20 PM -1:45 PM - Q&A Session for Candidates
1:45 PM -2:30 PM - Tumbling
2:30 PM - 3:00 PM - Material for Tryouts
3:00 PM - 3:45 PM - Stunt Session 2
3:45 PM - 4:00 PM - Review/Wrap Up/Clean Up
* Snacks only will be provided for all participants during the clinic.
It is not required that you attend to be eligible for the Spring Tryouts, however, attendance is strongly recommended. Material that is required for the April 7-8, 2017 tryout will be taught and reviewed during this clinic. If you are unable to attend the clinic, you may order a material DVD by contacting the program Head Coach, Julie Horine at jhorine@varsity.com. Cost of the DVD is $45.00 and will be available after the conclusion of the clinic.
