The Azcui Story: Father Daughter Bond
1/30/2017 4:17:00 PM | Women's Tennis
IU head coach Ramiro Azcui and his daughter Denise share a special bond.
Denise grew up learning the game of tennis from her dad as a younger in Bloomington. She wasn't the most talented, but she had incredible determination that set her apart.
Denise won back-to-back state championships at Bloomington High School South and is currently a sophomore on the women's tennis team at Western Michigan.
It was fitting, in her father's first match as a head coach it was against Western Michigan. Coming back to Bloomington brought lots of memories and emotions for both Ramiro and Denise.
The father and daughter share a special bond that they talk about in this video.
