Fant to Return in 2017

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana cornerback Rashard Fant will return for his fifth season in 2017.
A second team All-Big Ten selection in 2016, Fant's 17 pass breakups led the conference and tied for second nationally, while his 20 passes defended paced the B1G and ranked third in the country. Fant is first in the NCAA among active players with 48 career passes defended, averaging 1.3 per game in 38 career contests.
The Atlanta native's three interceptions, tied for 12th in the Big Ten last season. He made 33 tackles, 29 solo.
